Karen Johal is a British South Asian Actress, born and raised in Birmingham, England. After graduating from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York she worked extensively in Theatre, Film and Television. Her most notable credits include Frank's Plan (Amazon Prime) Man on the phone (Red Bear Films) and Cartwright (Henleon Films). In 2016 Karen worked opposite Scottish actor Alan Cumming OBE in the musical "Me and the girls" originating the role of Nasim. In 2017 Karen starred in Shakespeare in the park's stage production of Julius Caesar and performed at the world renowned Carnegie Hall later that year with Emmy award winning composer Lolita Ritmanis. She is set to star in the film Victim hood (Kill the lion films) scheduled for release in early 2022. Karen is represented by Shack Artists (UK).
