Kaila Hunte is a Canadian actor and writer. She developed a passion for performing at a young age and attended Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts where she majored in Musical Theatre and worked with some of Toronto's notable coaches and directors. She landed featured roles in musicals such as; RENT, Hairspray, and Evita. She is a graduate of the Biological Sciences program at the University of Guelph.
Kaila made her film debut as Lisa in the short film Another Sad Gay Love Story (2019) directed by Thomas Goldhar.
