Bistra Okereke was born in Owerri, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian-Bulgarian actress raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated at the National academy for theatre and film arts in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2019. She is a professional actress and a poet. Bistra comes from a mixed heritage. Her mum is Bulgarian and her dad is Nigerian.
