Lidewij Edelkoort is a renowned Dutch trendwatcher. After a first job at a Department store in Holland, she moved to Paris to start her own trendwatching company. Since, she has worked for clients such as Gucci, Lancôme, L'Oréal, Coca-Cola, and Nissan. She has been chair woman of the Design Academy Eindhoven, established the School of Form in Poznan, and became the dean of hybrid studies at Parsons School of Design. She has been named by Times as one of the 25 most influential fashion experts of our day in 2003.
