Julia Rose Estrada was born and raised in Connecticut. She grew up studying many art forms including several years of classical piano and ballet training, and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Connecticut.
Since 2019, she has worked as a Recipe Developer, Food Photographer, Stylist, and On-Camera Personality. Her food blog and Instagram account, Bread & Basil, attracts followers from all culinary backgrounds, and focuses on inventive seasonal recipes and breads. Julia is also known for hosting six videos with McCormick Spice for their Flavor Makers series.
