Maria Elena's musical background started with a great piano teacher, Manola Gonzalez, and her voice coaching from famed Hungarian Opera Singer, Ladislao Vaida. Also taught in the classics, Maria Elena grew up in the era of rock music, when it transformed from American Rock to British Rock in the '60's. That, as well as her Spanish heritage, is what makes her composition style unique. Her acting started in High School and now she works her acting and musical careers fulltime.
