Atuando em teatro desde os 16 anos. Cresceu em San Diego, Califórnia. Viveu em Nova York de 1981 a 1994 e atualmente reside em Los Angeles. Playwright (membro da Dramatists Guild) com várias peças produzidas. Também co-escreveu "Suds The Rockin '60's Musical Soap Opera" com Melinda Gilb e Bryan Scott. Co-escreveu "Back To Bacharach and David" com Kathy Najimy. Compôs muitas pontuações para o teatro, incluindo o premiado Dixie Highway, A Christmas Carol e The Brontes. Jogou papéis principais no Old Globe Theatre (San Diego), Alliance Theatre (Atlanta), Canon Theatre (Beverly Hills), Criterion Theatre (Nova York), Pasadena Playhouse, Laguna Playhouse, Alex Theatre (Glendale) e muitos outros.
