Miles Crawford began filmmaking, preceded by his professional career in music and theatre: performing as a cast member of STOMP, and drumming alongside Eminem, Ringo Starr, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Art Garfunkel, Darwin Deez, Terrence Mann, and Bronagh Gallagher. Born in Boston, raised in New York, Miles played drums in bands and acted in theatrical productions from an early age. He attended CalArts and The New School, graduating with awards from Musicians Institute. Miles is married to Reshma Gajjar. They live in Los Angeles.
