Mragendra, despite his interest in storytelling, as an obedient South-Asian child went on to become an engineer to please his parents, only to eventually disappoint them by nose-diving into filmmaking.
Born and raised in Bhopal, India, Mragendra Singh is an engineer turned director now based in Los Angeles.
Mragendra's first feature "normal." premiered at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival that garnered awards and nominations internationally and domestically. His short films have played in numerous festivals, amassing awards. He was a participant in the 2017 Reykjavik Talent Lab and was among the top 200 directors for Project Green Light.
