Joel hails from Brighton, England, with a first class honours degree in Music Multimedia and Electronics (BSc) at the University of Leeds from 2009 to 2012. Having learned his craft in a successful band for 6 years, he transferred his skills to writing music for TV and Film. Including a number of short films, Joel has featured on Channel 4's Hollyoaks, and also such brands as Chevrolet and Cornetto, Playstation and Coca-Cola. Previous bespoke work includes 'MacMillan Cancer Support', where the commercial reached many UK channels including MTV, Eurosport, E4 and Channel 5. Joel has a passion for jazz, soundtracks and good pop structure together with great overall song writing.
