Raquel Forster is a Swiss actress and presenter with Brazilian roots. She grew up alternately in Zurich and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as the daughter of a Swiss father and a Brazilian mother. She started modeling as a child and sang in the Christmas band of a youth club when she was a teenager. At the age of 18 she won the first prize in a reading competition of the Goethe-Institut in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She later joined a theater company and was one of the first members of the "Box Office Club" (2011), a film critic show at Swiss national television. She completed various Method acting courses, including a fall intensive course from the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film School in New York (2010) as well as an acting school in Zurich, which she left after one semester. She has since then trained with professional coaches and joined a theatre company in Switzerland (2017). She appeared in short films, feature films and various commercials and is known for films like FRAGIL (2014), Folie à Deux (2017) and The Bedbug (2017). The actress lives in Zürich, Switzerland.
