Mild sexual references are made throughout the series with verbal (and in the pilot episode fleeting visual) several erect penises shown on tablet slideshow. The erect penises are actually prosthetics/dildos. Talk about threesomes, child molestation, and various other sexual references either in conversations or used as profanity.

While looking on an iPad, the main character clicks on a photo album and several pictures of a man's penis become visible, this is very brief (less than a second) but noticeable.

Characters are shot and killed onscreen.

Alcohol consumption (ie. beer or wine) is frequent and some characters are implied alcoholics throughout. Mostly in the first episode.

The show isn't disturbing, but the murders can be cruel: Suicide, electrocution, carbon monoxide poisoning.
