In one episode, a child (Hudson) asks Owen "when you were taking a nap, why did you call out Claire's name so much?" to which Owen awkwardly tries to cover the child's mouth. A minute later, the child proceeds to say, "When you were calling Claire's name it sounded like you were crying a little." Again met by an embarrassed Owen, trying to shut him up.

People are almost eaten by dinosaurs. In one episode, a Pteranadon, brings a child to its nest to feed to its young. The child later realizes this said purpose and is a little let down that its favorite dinosaur has this purpose in mind.
