There are scenes of violence and disturbing imagery thoughout the series. For example; battles in which many people die, shots of charred human remains, a person shown dead and imbedded in a concrete wall with blood spattered around them.

We see many characters consuming pills to treat mental illness

There are a few scenes in both seasons in which characters are shown to use illegal drugs to get high.
