There is quite a bit of onscreen violence throughout the season; multiple people are shot, mutilated by the creatures from the mist, and violently killed; one particularly shocking but non-violent death shows a little girl having the life sucked out of her and turning to ash.

Many shootings. Many bloody, supernatural deaths. Severe beatings. Several murders.

While profanity was limited while aired on TV, streaming services show the less censored cut which includes several uses of stronger language (f**k and etc)

The overall tone of the series is frightening and intense as people are both attacked by the creatures in the mist and begin turning on each other.
