Since the central issue is sexual misconduct, there is some amount of sexual talk (including a few references to oral sex). Accusers recall their experience, a couple "talks dirty" to each other, and a couple are seen in bed together, etc. Nothing overly graphic so far.

Wine and other liquors are shown and consumed frequently- a few characters are shown or hinted to have a drinking problem. Adderall is taken and there's an OD scene.

In season 2, one character is shown smoking cigarettes quite frequently.

There are some long pause moments to add to the intensity of some dialogues.

A woman gets sexually assaulted, and discussion of sexual assault and power imbalance and manipulation in sexual relationships is brought up very frequently.

The titular show-within-a-show covers some very upsetting topics, including the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting and 2018 California wildfires.
