Two People become really close in the show near the end. There is no sex whatsoever, nor even kissing / intimacy of any kind.

There is a few scenes in one episode with everyone bathing (men and women separately) but the body is never shown and there is nothing sexual about this

Several people are killed in one episode, many are shot to death with plenty of blood spraying. One character personally kills several people with a sword, with lots of blood spray and plenty staining his clothes.

This is severely violent, gory and bloody repeatedly through the series. There is sadism and the bloody murder of children. it is by no means "mild" or "moderate"... and it is by no means "teaches children life's lessons". It's just plain grizzly.
