Episode 1: A young woman is shot point blank by a double-barreled shotgun. There is some blood. Later in the episode is a silent flashback of the same scene where the bloody shotgun wounds are clearer.

In the middle of the episodes, the main character is taken hostage and the hostage taker is shot in the head by an off-screen police and his blood splats on the protagonist's face. Brief but shocking.

Brief use of mild language such as "twat."

Episode 1: The shouting of the gunman and the screaming of the woman, along with the sudden shock of the shooting, makes this scene quite intense.
