De weg (1983)

The series is about the family of road builder Frans van Steenderen. Van Steenderen (Andre van den Heuvel) and his wife Janny (Anne-Wil Blankers) divorce when their son Arie is just a child. Father Van Steenderen sends his son to a boarding school for his education.
