Physical violence is usually minor pushing or punching or done offscreen entirely. No gore and the only instance of blood is a minor glass cut on a character's hand, which is only seen briefly.

Most of the stories are horror based although some of them can come off as cheesy. Many frightening and intense scenes throughout that may scare younger kids but it's nothing older pre-teens can't handle. The outdated, and somewhat cheesy special effects also reduce the fear factor for some stories.

The death count throughout the series could only be counted on one hand, although most stories end with characters in a horrible and grim predicament, with no possible escape.
