Sexual conversation is pervasive and often crude.

Sex scenes are very crude and usually include over the top touching and thrusting, but they're always clothed. There are a lot of scenes with groping of (clothed) breasts. Bras are occasionally visible.

A few scenes contain nudity (men and womens butts only), but these are infrequent.

One male character offers to be a model for a life drawing class. He is nude in this scene. A female character who is in this class paints a picture of him (full frontal) which is seen multiple times through the rest of the series.

Occasional use of Fuck.

"Cunt" is sometimes used (Sue White uses it a couple of time). It is referred to (usually as 'the c-word') occasionally.

Frequent use of milder profanities such as shit, damn and bitch

Most characters smoke and are seen smoking throughout

A lot of episodes include scenes at pubs, which includes drinking

In one episode, Caroline Todd, the main character, holds a party in which most people, including herself become drunk. She kisses four people (3 males and 1 female) during this scene.

Green Wing is primarily a comedy, but has drama elements as well, particularly in the second series
