In one episode there is a scene depicting a woman pulled from the river naked. She is shown completely naked for long periods of time as various people gather in a circle and stare at her rather than trying to cover her up.

Generally every episode is centered around one or more murders. By definition, the theme involves violence. There is little actual violence depicted though frequently dead bodies are shown, sometimes with injuries or blood apparent.

Some uses of d*** on occasion and b****** rarely. Also little use of religious swearing.

numerous scenes depicting drinking of a social nature, some of the main characters smoke and this theme is pervasive across the series.

On occasion some characters get drunk, but this is rare.

There are scenes depicting murder and other tragedy. Generally these are not particularly intense and should not be frightening except to the young or very sensitive.
