One man punches another in the face. He retaliates and almost uses a weapon until a woman ends it.
A maid slaps her mistress across the face when the mistress begins to act out of control.
A man holds a woman at gunpoint but does not threaten to shoot.
A man holds another at gunpoint. The second man pushes it away and begins repeatedly slamming the man's head against a table, then the floor. He then strangles him until people stop him. He does not kill him but comes very close to it. It is an intense and emotional scene.
At the end, the family finds Heathcliff has committed suicide. He is laying open-eyed on a bed with a gun resting next to his head and blood splattered everywhere.
