As the FBI team investigates the event they come up against an unknown and ruthless enemy who occasionally attacks the team through armed violence and ambushes. These portrayals are at times prolonged but they are not explicit and are without details.

The series contains a few intense scenes that depict the catastrophic aftermath of the blackout where the city of Los Angeles is shown to be in chaos with highway littered with smashed and burning vehicles, buildings on fire and civilian casualties resulting from the chaos.
