Some scenes showing bloody injuries or infections. These can be graphic but brief and infrequent
Season 2 is set during World War I and features soldiers getting shot, explosions and dead bodies.
We are shown the aftermaths of a suicide. The man who killed himself appears to have sliced his wrists and is shown in bed with his forearms dripping of blood forming a puddle on the floor.
Contains infrequent moments of moderate violence, often in the form of hand-to-hand combat and war violence. Acts of violence are not depicted with any particular detail, and emphasis on pain or injury is infrequent.
Also contains some medical procedures that may cause discomfort in some viewers (such as fluids being drained from patient's bodies, injections etc.).
One episode contains scenes of implied sexual violence, where a woman is kissed against her will. When she rejects this behaviour, she is punched in the face. Shortly thereafter, she is dragged screaming through corridors, and her horrified screams can be heard off-camera. A scene that takes place shortly thereafter depicts the character in a state of distress (and her injuries are visible). She requests a change of clothes. References to this incident are alluded to throughout the remainder of the series.
A man attempts suicide off-camera, and he is shown unconscious, and near dead, in a blood-filled bathtub.
In one particularly bloody scene, a character's ulcer bursts, and they expel profuse quantities of blood from their mouth.
