In several episodes of the series, off-camera vomiting is used as a punchline to a joke. Dark humor, including threats of violence, fatal shooting, and imprisonment are used in the general course of the comedy as well.

The characters of the series sometimes use profanity. For all broadcast episodes, offensive words have been "bleeped" out though the intent of the profanity can still be discerned.
