The film is about a street dancer who had to emigrate to the United States in order to escape from a very intense situation he unintentionally got himself involved back in the city of Monterrey at the time the city got taken over by drug cartels. The movie explores themes of losing identity and how things you love will eventually change weather you like it or not. As such, the film can get very emotional and upsetting at times, specially in the second half of the film.
