This anime is free of any fanservice, nudity, and sex.

The only thing worth mentioning is that, due to an apocalypse in which the human population has severely decreased, reproduction is occasionally discussed in dialogue, but not distastefully. For example, at a shelter in which all the men have died (leaving only the women), a woman makes a joke to another about "finding a man who can do it".

Some flashbacks include fairly mild scenes of a man engaging in combat with hostile robots. These exchanges include gunfire and explosions. No blood or injury detail is accompanied by them.

An elderly man is seen slowly dying of old age. He occasionally coughs hard in his hand because of this. A tiny amount of blood is seen in his hand once after coughing especially hard on one occasion. This is the only time that blood is ever seen in the movie.

One use of "sh**" and a few "d*mn"s and "h*ll"s (subbed version). Overall profanity use is infrequent.

A couple references and portrayals of drinking hard liquor, though, no intoxication is present.
