There are moments of battle violence throughout, which for a majority of the film are moderate in nature.

However as the film progresses into its final, climactic act; the violence becomes much stronger with detail of characters being shot and stabbed with bayonets (often shown in slow-motion with detail of blood spurts); as well as shots of characters being blown up but without strong detail. The battle ultimately culminates with a stabbing to the throat; as the knife is extracted blood is visible over the blade. Another character is then stabbed repeatedly with a bayonet.
