Gwen the goose is seen laying eggs through the movie.

When Fern leaves Wilbur for a boy she likes, it is implied that they are attracted to each other. They hug in one scene.

Wilbur jumps off a hay bale (trying to "spin a web" like Charlotte) and hits the ground, he jumps the same hay bale again but with his tail tied to ceiling wood with a piece of string. It then snaps and he then falls and hits the ground again. (Nothing graphic, but made for laughs)

Templeton, the rat, bites Wilbur's tail on a couple of occasions in order to revive him from having fainted, after one or more other animals encourage him to revive Wilbur.

Wilbur is almost beheaded in the beginning of the movie.

Templeton the rat is shown hiccuping after eating at the carnival, which some perhaps think implies that he is drunk (it should be noted that a whole banana, unchewed, forcefully fell down his throat into his stomach right before he started hiccuping).

The theme of the film is that Wilbur (the main character) is afraid that he will die in the fall and turned into smoked bacon and ham.

When Wilbur is shown being taken away from Fern, it may upset many viewers.

In one scene, Wilbur is spooked by an owl and thunder in the middle of the night. He sneaks into the Arable family home.
