Suggested MPAA rating: G or very mild PG for brief violence and thematic material
Like the first part of "Henry IV," a good portion of this film is set in a tavern/brothel and some of the characters are prostitutes. No actual sex or nudity is ever seen, however, and this behavior is condemned.
It is very subtly implied by the dialogue that Falstaff (an immoral character) wishes to have sex with Doll Tearsheet but cannot get an erection due to his old age and obesity. This will not be noticed by children, however, and immoral behavior is always condemned in Shakespeare's writing.
