Dee is often rammed into by A-ko and C-ko while they are on their way to school. Dee becomes increasingly battered and bandaged following each encounter with A-ko and C-ko.

Profanity is rather light, with the most offensive uses being single uses of the words "shit" and "bitch". "Damn" and "hell" are also occasionally used throughout the film.

Some characters smoke, and Captain Napolitina is shown to be a raging alcoholic (a parody of Captain Harlock, who was often seen with a glass of wine).
