The plot involves so-called "customer girls" who are a company's female employees expected to flirt, entertain customers at night, accept gifts and are encouraged to satisfy the men in terms of sexual favors, if needed. This is equivalent to prostitution. The protagonist is strong-armed into cooperating, which amounts to sexual grooming into sexual slavery, but she chooses to quit the job. The type of men making such choices are misogynists.
