Some kissing. A woman must cover herself with a blanket while her clothes dry. The man asks her to remove the blanket. She asks for his coat and he offers to trade the coat for the blanket. Finally the coat is placed around her shoulders and they kiss. The camera cuts to her legs as the blanket is shown falling to the ground.

A woman shows some cleavage.

The demon is shot at least once with a pistol. He falls. As he is struggling with a policeman, he receives at least two more rifle shots. He is seen falling to the ground (impact not shown) after being shot.

The sun demon attacks several people. No blood.

No gore, but there is a shot of the sun demon crushing a rat.

"I feel like heck" is the closest this movie ever gets to swearing.

There is some smoking in the film.

Some drinking. The main character is an alcoholic.

Most of the action sequences are laughable by today's standards. Children under 6 might be frightened by the sight of the monster.

The movie overall has a depressing tone.

The ending is very sad.
