Most of the film is spent with the humans trying to kill the monster. They do this by shooting at it, setting it on fire, throwing grenades at it, etc.

The monster kills a few people. Nothing is explicit.

It really had me in super suspence when I saw it on it's first run in theaters. Of course, I was 11, so I'm speaking on behalf of all the misrepresented young people who need a voice. We think it's a very cool movie.
