Scantily clad chorus girls are seen performing on stage and back stage. A married man is implied to be a womanizer and to have relationships with younger women.

The film opens with the murder of a woman but the actual crime is not seen. A male character is seen to be very volatile and behaves unpredictably, seeming tending to be violent with women.

Cigarette smoking is very evident. The protagonist is a recovering alcoholic who does succumb to alcohol later in the film.

The film gets more and more intense as it proceeds.
