The Clown (1968)

Unable to tell a lie, young Stavros always finds himself in a tight spot. It's been only a few months after his discharge from the Greek Army, and Stavros' straightforwardness along with his free-spirited nature have already cost him three jobs. But, now that he has landed a job as an accountant at the office of the avaricious Mr Soufridoglou, Stavros is determined to keep his mouth shut; however, this is easier said than done. Perhaps, Fanoula, his beautiful but blind next-door neighbour, could inspire change in Stavros' life. Do dreams come true?
