In one such scene, after showing a player's eye-socket, his eyeball complete with optic nerve is shown lying on the turf. Medics then bag up the eye and place it in an icebox, leaving a bloody stain on the field.

One scene shows scenes from Ben Hur including the chariot race in which a man is run over and dragged by a chariot. The chariot race is on a TV in the background.
