A Gyaos is seen with its eye hanging out. It's jaw is also broken.

Early in the movie Gamera shoots down a Gyaos, and we see the maimed creature later on the ground. In that same sequence, another Gyaos is blown to bloody pieces.

Several people are killed throughout. Some by falling rubble, many are due to Iris who literally sucks its victims of their innards and leaves them as dried up corpses.

Irys repeatedly stabs Gamera with its spear like arms, and blood is seen several times.

At the climax Gamera actually tears open Irys' stomach to save a character, but not long after has his hand impaled against a wall. Gamera then procedes to amputate his own hand. Both are very bloody.

A lot of the action is very intense. This is definately not the child friendly campy Gamera you may be used to.
