Throughout their youth, best friends Beth and Paula, created codes of friendship so that they would remain best friends forever. As their friendship matured, the codes that were once so clear became complicated. When Paula's ex-boyfriend, Markus, resurfaced into their lives, the codes that were supposed to strengthen their friendship tears it apart.
