A severe thunderstorm hits Las Vegas at night following with lightning bolts and then the tornado's strike Las Vegas and the man in the hotel bedroom gets blown away, meanwhile the people outside and in the casinos panic and run for their lives as the tornado destroys monuments and buildings causing the power to go out.

A category 6 hurricane hits Chicago along with several tornadoes (it is implied that numerous people die, but nothing is actually shown).

Several unusual natural disasters occur all around the country leading up to the big one in Chicago.
