Moon Fascinating, Bird Sweet (1978)

Lingshan is a teacher. She meets a young girl named Chuchuand her father Wei. Wei tells Lingshan that Chuchu's mother left them years ago. The sad story touches Lingshan and she falls in love with Wei. She decides to marry Wei, despite of her family objections. But a book reveals Wei's deep love of his ex-wife.
