Young Superman (3 years old or so) is shown completely nude from the front for a few seconds.

There are a lot of action sequences involving hand-to-hand fighting, thrown objects, firearms, rockets, and even a flamethrower. Much of this is fantasy violence involving super powers.

We see clearly-fake blood in a fistfight scene. Despite the fakery, this remains a scene of one man beating another bloody.

Astronauts are killed by asphyxiation due to purposeful damage to their space suits.

In the recap of the first film shown at the beginning of this one, we see the drowning scene where Superman is being dragged below the surface of a canal by a "necklace" made from a towing chain and a chunk of kryptonite.

Another scene that may frighten younger viewers is the main fight sequence between Superman, Zod, Ursula, and Non.

We also see a few military battles where the US government attempts to stop the three evil Kryptonians.
