Himmelsengen (1955)

A married couple are moving from the house that has been their home ever since their wedding night in 1890 - 35 years ago. They fret and quarrel, laugh, cry, and make love in the same room in which they began their married life. Witnessing it all in silence is the bedroom's old fourposter.
