In the very first action sequence with Electro, there are lots of loud noises and citywide destruction. He is shown using his godlike powers to hurt people and he causes lots of chaos during these images.

Although the movie keeps a consistent upbeat and fun tone, in sequences with Electro and Green Goblin, especially in the climax of the film, it can be quite dark and intense.
