Towards the middle of the film this a discussion about Vivian's feelings of distrust towards men. She mentions to a boy about sitting on a mans lap and feeling something poking him. We assume she's referring to an erection. She also collects newspaper clippings and several headlines are about rape and sex crimes. She frequently takes photos and video clips of the crowds outside adult theaters where posters and movie headlines could be seen but are not very revealing.

Several photos show dead animals some of which are severely mutilated like a cat ran over in the street. Blood is shown in many of these photos but they are in black and white so the impact is muted. Some of her collected newspaper clippings and photos of newspaper stands include crime scenes and headlines of violent crimes.

A few religious exclamations occur throughout the film.

Casual smoking and drinking is depicted in some of the photos and video.

There are photos of newspapers with crime scenes depicted and headlines with gruesome crimes committed. Some photos contain severely handicap beggars or homeless people in desperate situations.
