Macbeth sends murderers after Banquo and his son. Banquo is shot by a crossbow but his young son escapes. Not overly graphic, but it is rather intense.
The scene where Macbeth kills Duncan shows some blood, but the quick shots cutting in and out obscure the violence and prevents it from being too gruesome.
Intense battles and murders throughout. It is relatively bloody at times. Nothing extraordinarily explicit, however.
The murder of MacDuff's family is the most disturbing scene in the film, but most of the violence is not actually shown on screen
