Maddie Evans

Maddie Evans is a British actor born in 2006. Maddie started her screen acting career on BBC1's award-winning serial drama EastEnders, staying on the show on two years. In 2018 she featured in Warner Bros. Fantastic Beasts - The Crimes of Grindelwald, the second installment of the Fantastic Beasts series featuring the adventures of Magizoologist Newt Scamander. Based on characters written by J.K. Rowling, and directed by David Yates, the film was the 10th highest-grossing film of 2018. Maddie has since appeared in another major film for Warner Bros in 2019 and one for Disney in the same year, both as yet to be announced. At the age of 11 Maddie was cast by 'Maila P. Russell' ( The Boss Baby, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda 2, Monsters vs. Aliens, Fast and Furious Spy Racers, Madagascar: A Little Wild, Spirit Riding Free, Rescue Riders.) as the lead role Mary Mary in DreamWorks's Rhyme Time Town TV series which was released in June 2020 on Netflix and since then has been picked up for a whole new TV series 'Rhyme Time Town Singalongs' season 1 on Netflix. It was during this TV series that Maddie was invited to the headquarters of Dreamworks in LA. Not only this but on the job, Maddie was coached by 'Naomi Joy Todd' (Stars Wars, Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, Disney's The Nutcracker And The Four Realms, Mamma Mia! Here we Go Again, Four Weddings and a Funeral) and by 'Sonja Field' ( Game of Thrones Prequel, Turn Up Charlie, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms) She has since gone to be cast in two further DreamWorks and Netflix projects, one of them being Netflix TV film ' Rescue Riders: Secrets of the Songwing' starring as the same character as 'Skai Jackson' ,Summer- Maddie does the UK Vocals. Spotted by a creative, Maddie was cast in 2020 as the young lead Mary Anne Evans playing the younger version of Lia Williams (George Eliot) in the BBC4 drama Marian and George Directed by Emma Harding and also starring Lia Williams and Tom Goodman-Hill. Recently, Maddie just finished working on 'Arkham County' playing Young Violet Flintlock'. Maddie worked alongside Emmy and Golden Globe award winning Actor Stanley Tucci ( Transformers, The Hunger Games, Easy A, Captain America), Burn Gorman who recently starred as 'Linthorn' in Netflix's Enola Holmes ( Game of Thrones, Eastenders, Casualty), Alex Kingston ( Law and Order, Doctor Who, Gilmore Girls), Dakota Blue Richards ( Endeavor, Skins, The Quiet Hour) and starring as 'Violet Flintlock' Emily Barber ( The Royals, Call the Midwife, The Alienist, Endeavor). As a young actor she is complimented on being 'engaging, focused and lighting up the screen'.
