Ilya Aktop

Ilya Aktop is an Indonesian screenwriter and film director. In 2020, she started her career in the film industry as an assistant to producer and story development team on the feature film "Kadet 1947". Her first writing work was a web series called "Ustadz Jaga Jarak". She wrote the short film "Berangkat" which was produced by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing to celebrate Indonesia's National Children Day. In 2021, Ilya was selected as a writer for Garin Nugroho and Galeri Indonesia Kaya's project, "Mencari Siti" that later aired as "Musical Series Nurbaya". Her other work includes a drama series by VIU Original "Write Me a Love Song" and a feature film with romance comedy "Gendut Siapa Takut?!". She also makes her first debut as film director on animation series "Bisma".
