Biography

After graduating and entering post graduate studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade (Film and TV production), she completed the course at the London Film Academy and won the UCLA fellowships in the United States. In 2015, within the "Producer's Day" event, the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade presented Tatjana Zezelj Gojkovic with the "Luconosa" award for producer of the year. At the Cinema City International Film Festival, which has been held in Novi Sad since 2008, she received a special award for "Promotion of Serbian Cinema in the World" with the 2015 film "Panama" directed by Pavle Vuckovic. She began her professional career in 2010 and has so far produced over 20 feature films. "Panama", directed by Pavle Vuckovic, which she produced, was in the main selection of the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the best debut film. After a 30-year-long break, "Panama" was the first debut feature film from Serbia to enter the official selection of one of the most influential European film festivals. Film "The Balkan Line", directed by Andrey Volgin, produced by Tatjana Zezelj Gojkovic, was the first Russian-Serbian co-production supported by the Russian and Serbian Ministries of Culture after a long period of time. After it premiered, "The Balkan Line" was in the first place in terms of viewership in Russia, while in Serbia it has a viewership of over 300,000 cinema admissions. It won two Golden Eagle awards presented by the National Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences of Russia for outstanding contribution to the film industry. "South Wind", directed by Milos Avramovic, produced by Tatjana Zezelj Gojkovic, according to the official list of the Film Center of Serbia, is by far the most watched Serbian film in the past decade, while the total viewership worldwide, is almost a million viewers with a worldwide box-office gross of over $2 million. The series "South Wind", broadcast on RTS - Serbian National Broadcaster, achieved a viewership of 35.5 percent of total share of the television audience. It was also broadcast on Russian National Television. A Russian-Serbian co-production "Hotel Belgrade" (2020) directed by Konstantin Statskiy, have been seen by more than 830,000 viewers during the first weekend of screenings in Russia. Working on films "A Great Tram Robbery" (Slobodan Sijan), "Trail of the Beast" (Nenad Pavlovic), "Frost" (Pavle Vuckovic), "South Wind 2: Speed up" (Milos Avramovic) and "Tesla". Collaborating on production of a short animated series "Puffins" together with Hollywood producer Andrea Iervolino.
